††††††††††† 4.Davidís supergrace life, cf. Js 4:4-6; 2 Pt 3:18; Eph 2:7; 1 Pt 5:5-7.

C.††Doctrinal principles regard testing, fear, courage, doubt, and victory

††††††††††† 1.†† Every believer has been graced out not only in the privilege of believing in Jesus Christ but also in testing/suffering because of identification with Him, the POG, and BD, Philip 1:29; 1 Pet 1:6-9; 4:12-16; Js 1:2-4; Heb 12:1-2.

††††††††††† 2.The real issue not really the test but our response to the test, 1 Cor 10:13.

††††††††††† 3.What makes a test so difficult is the fear of an uncertainty that contains a threat.

††††††††††† 4.†† While initial fear is not sin, failure to move to the Lord and His Word for His solutions during times of fear, uncertainty, and danger will spawn a host of other MASs like fear, anxiety, phobias, paranoia, anger, jealousy, bitterness, and vituperationĖwhich all destroy the spiritual life, mental life, and psychological life.

††††††††††† 5.†† Failure to orient to BD to get biblical answers to doubts regarding vital spiritual issues of your life will only cause the problem to fester and take you down the three stages of uncertainty to skepticism and hardness of heart.

††††††††††††††††††††††† a)†† Factual doubt.

††††††††††††††††††††††† b)Emotional doubt.

††††††††††† ††††††††††† c)††† Volitional doubt.††

††††††††††† 6.†† There are only two basic ways to respond to the test/danger

††††††††††††††††††††††† a)†† Human viewpoint emotional reaction (evil).

††††††††††††††††††††††† b)Divine viewpoint doctrinal rationale response.

††††††††††† 7.†† When the believer emotionally reacts to fear and the problems of life (HV),he quickly moves into destructive emotional chain sinning with intropunitive and extrapunitive mental aberrations.

††††††††††† 8.†† When the believer uses the doctrinal rationale approach, he converts the problem into a problem solving God-glorifying situation, and in the process he transforms himself into a more mature believer with greater assurance, power, peace, stability, and SSE, cf.David.††

††††††††††† 9.The only legitimate fear in the POG is fear of rejection of BD, the Lord, or the spiritual lifeói.e. reversionism, Heb 4:1; 5:11-6:8; 1 Cor 11:30; Prov 1. Every believer should be afraid of reversionism and disobeying the Lord.

††††††††††††††††††††††† a)The positive doctrinal believer lives free from worry and anxiety regarding the temporal issues of life because he respects the Lord and the POG, cf. David.

††††††††††††††††††††††† b)†† The reversionistic believer lives in anxiety and fear regarding the temporal issues of life because he does not respect the Lord and the POG, cf. Saul.

††††††††††† 10.††† It is imperative for the believer to orient to BD and the unfailing faithfulness of God and His graceóespecially during times of stress, failure, and national reversionism, Isaiah 41:10;Heb 13:6; Psa 56:3-4; Lam 3:21-25.
